Holiday Tree Lighting
The Town of Templeton has scheduled Sunday, December 7, 2008 to hold the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in each of the four Town villages.
The timetable for each lighting ceremony is as follows:

• Otter River 5:30 p.m.
• East Templeton 6:00 p.m.
• Templeton Center 6:30 p.m.
• Baldwinville Center 7:00 p.m.

Special Town Meeting
The Town of Templeton will hold a Special Town Meeting on December 1, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting will take place in the auditorium at Narragansett Regional Middle School 460 Baldwinville Rd.
The warrant is available here.
The last day to register to vote for the Special Town Meeting is Friday, November 21, 2008. The Town Clerk’s office will be open from 7:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m on that day.

Templeton Landfill
Last day in 2008 for the Landfill to be open for leaves and brush will be Saturday, November 29, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
On January 10, 2009 the Landfill will be open to accept Christmas trees from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
The Landfill will not open if it is snowing or raining.

The next regular meeting of the Templeton Board of Selectmen is November 24, 2008
in the conference room at 690 Patriots Road at 6:30 p.m.
