Sheriff Glodis Announces Health Foundation Grants Print E-mail

West Boylston - Citing an ongoing commitment to inmate rehabilitation, Sheriff Guy Glodis announced today two grants that will assist with post-incarceration services and inmate parenting education.  The grants, awarded by the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts Inc., will help fund the Almost Home Program and Pernet Family Health Service Inc., respectively.

Sheriff Glodis Completes Athol and Gardner Turkey Donation Print E-mail

Athol, Gardner - Working in a partnership with local senior citizen advocates, Sheriff Guy Glodis completed a day-long turkey donation in Athol and Gardner on Monday, December 19th.  The 150 turkeys were donated by the Reserve Deputy Sheriff's Association and distributed by the Worcester County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff Glodis Announces Successful Fitchburg Coat Drive Print E-mail

FitchburgSurrounded by local residents and Cleghorn Neighborhood Community Center members, Sheriff Glodis today announced the success of a citywide coat drive to benefit citizens from the Cleghorn neighborhood.  The Sheriff was joined at the Fitchburg COAP/Office of Community Corrections by Jeff Crowley, President of Wachusett Mountain; Sean Boyce, Director of the Community Center; and Ward 2 City Councilor Norman Boisvert.

Sheriff Announces Toys for Tots in Webster Print E-mail

Webster – Part of an ongoing effort to make the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office more community-oriented, Sheriff Guy Glodis today announced the initiation of the Toys for Tots Program at the Webster COAP office. The Sheriff’s Office will collect all toy donations at the office beginning today and ending Thursday, December 15th.
