SHERIFF GLODIS ANNOUNCES GANG VIOLENCE
PREVENTION POSITION
West Boylston – Responding to a request from the Worcester Police Department and other municipal departments, Sheriff Guy Glodis announced today the creation of a full-time gang violence prevention officer at the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office. The new position will focus primarily on identification of gang members and inter-agency information sharing.

West Boylston – Highlighting numerous cases of visitor contraband and drug introduction at the Worcester County House of Correction, Sheriff Guy Glodis announced today an aggressive move towards a non-contact visitation policy. The Sheriff has submitted a supplemental funding request to the State Legislature to convert two contact visitation rooms to non-contact. |

SHERIFF GLODIS ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF
SENIOR CENTER PROJECT
Fitchburg – Sheriff Guy Glodis visited Fitchburg today to personally inspect the completion of a debris removal and maintenance service project at the Fitchburg Senior Center. Before an audience of more than 100 senior citizens, Sheriff Glodis vowed to make inmate work crews more readily available to local municipalities and particularly Senior Centers throughout Worcester County.
