ABOUT US

The work release program is located at the Worcester County Jail and House of Correction in West Boylston, and has been in continuous operation since 1968.

Inmates are serving sentences of 2.5 years or less.   Generally, inmates taking part in the Work Release program are nearing the completion of their sentence.  Any inmate convicted of a violent crime, sex offenses, gun charges, etc. are not eligible for the program.

Non-unifored corrections officers can discreetly bring potential employees to job sites for interviews, etc.  Officers can be contacted via email, phone or pager.
