Worcester - In a joint effort between the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, the Worcester Sharks, WTAG and Friendly House, volunteers with the Sheriff's Office participated in a food collection effort at the Price Chopper on Cambridge Street in Worcester, part of a month-long food drive to benefit the Friendly House.

  This is the third time that Sheriff Glodis has spearheaded the Thanksgiving Food Drive, aimed at helping needy families throughout the Worcester area. 

If you'd like to donate food, local businesses have agree to serve as drop-off locations: Bennie's Cafe, Press Box, Breen's Cafe, Galway Bay, Worcester Athletic Club, The Banner Bar and Grill, Fallon Community Health Care Center, Price Chopper and Drew Mortgage.
