Work Release Print E-mail
One of the most important programs offered to inmates at the Worcester County Jail & House of Correction is the Work Release Program.  This program allows inmates who are approaching their release date to work in employment situations, thereby allowing them to gain the skills necessary to secure gainful employment following their release as well as become reacquainted as members of society within a secure community setting.

There are a variety of employment opportunities for the inmates; local companies and organizations that are seeking inmate employment will contact the Work Release Coordinators with available positions, which are subsequently made available to eligible inmates.
