West Boylston – Citing their bravery and courage in serving on the front lines of corrections, Sheriff Guy Glodis welcomed 13 new officers at the Worcester County Sheriff’s Department.  As recruits the 12 men and 1 woman completed a grueling 13-week Basic Training Recruit Academy, teaching self-defense, ethics, corrections related law, and physical fitness.

“While today marks a tremendous achievement both personally and professionally, we expect great things from you in the future,” Sheriff Glodis stated.  “I congratulate you on your commitment to ensuring the highest level of public safety for Worcester County’s citizens.”
