Webster – Part of an ongoing effort to make the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office more community-oriented, Sheriff Guy Glodis today announced the initiation of the Toys for Tots Program at the Webster COAP office. The Sheriff’s Office will collect all toy donations at the office beginning today and ending Thursday, December 15th.

“Since taking office in January, I’ve tried to make the Sheriff’s Department much more than just a jail,” Sheriff Glodis stated. “By partnering with the Toys for Tots Program, we will be bringing joy and happiness to a large group of children who otherwise may have no Christmas at all.”

Interested residents and businesses can bring unwrapped gifts for any age group or gender to the Sheriff’s Webster Office, located at 562 South Main St. in Webster, between the hours of and . Toys for Tots will then collect the toys and begin the distribution process immediately.

Sheriff Glodis continued: “This is our chance as a public safety agency, members of the community, and as individuals to give something back. By taking part in this wonderful program, children from low-income families will know there are people out there who care about them and are willing to help.”

The Sheriff also stated that any person or business that has more than five gifts to donate can request Sheriff’s Department personnel to pick up the items. For more information, please contact Marie at the Webster office: 508.943.1948
