Sutton - Citing the Sheriff's longstanding commitment to the preservation of Waters Farm in Sutton, Ms. Pam Gurney-Farnham awarded Sheriff Guy Glodis the Jason Waters Service Award at the Farm's 250th birthday celebration in August.

"Waters Farm is such a tremendous historical and family-oriented resource for everyone in Worcester County," Sheriff Glodis stated.  "It is the volunteers and Gurney family members who should be congratulated for carrying on Bud's legacy."

Ms. Farnham highlighted Mr. Glodis' support for Waters Farm over the years, including his leadership in getting over $150,000 for much-needed restoration, as well as his current assistance through the Sheriff's Department's Community Service Program.

"Sheriff Glodis is a true friend to Waters Farm, providing the advocacy and help whenever we've needed it," Ms. Farnham stated.
